LIVE MUSIC IN THE YARD

LIVE MUSIC IN THE YARD

Join us for music with Barringer & Baker!

Barringer and Baker; Vocal and Instrumental Duo Mark Barringer: Vocals/Guitar - originally from San Francisco, his strong vocals

and dynamic rhythm guitar are his trademark, with a love for his own personal arrangements of music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

Bob Baker: Violin – Bob grew up as a classically trained violinist but his musical heart swayed to the rock, pop and blues sounds of his time. His playing incorporates the precision of the classics with the soulfulness of the rhythm and blues. Barringer and Baker formed seven years after Bob had wandered into a wine bar where Mark was playing in Bend Oregon. They met, they jammed, and it wasn’t until seven years later when Bob had a home in Sisters OR that they reconnected and the synergy and energy from the original meeting created the bond and music of Barringer and Baker. You’ll hear the music of Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, The Decemberists, John Mellencamp, and Van Morrison to name a few.

Reservations at tables can only be made for dinner and will most likely have several turns. We have ample seating in The Yard for listening & drink available for purchase.

An Evening of Artistry & Impact

An Evening of Artistry & Impact

Children in Rwogo once ate dirt from hunger. Today, 105 children, one

from each family supported by Rwanda Future Builders, are in school and

the whole village is starting to change.

With no computers, libraries, or internet, Rwogo has been cut off from

opportunity. The Community Centre will bring access to learning,

connection, and digital tools.

Alongside technology, hands-on programs like weaving and tailoring

will equip women to build livelihoods. Here, skills become businesses,

children gain knowledge once out of reach, and the entire village grows

stronger, empowered.

An Evening of Story & Connection
